Mac mini monitor suggestions/display resolution? - Page 2

The cable connectors are identical but I cannot say anything about the quality. Many users on Amazon had issues with some other brand cables with issues like monitor going to sleep mode. I bought the one above from Amazon based on many positive user reviews.

I've got a u2412m monitor and want to buy a mac mini to connect to it or to connect to my TV. (I expect to swap between the 2 monitors). I'm already using the DVI port however on the monitor so I'd rather use the display port instead and want to make sure this cable will work.

Thanks for the reply. I was a bit hesitant to spend >$10 on a cable but your remarks about potential issues with cheaper cables make me think I'd probably want to just get the cables known to work.
