Apple Releases Security Update 2013-001 for Snow Leopard and Lion

Myself included. Some time in the future, I might be forced to upgrade in order to keep iTunes and/or my iDevice(s) current. However, I'll always keep one on SL so I can run XP using Bootcamp.
This security update did in fact update Safari to 5.1.8....
Good eye! It sure did, although I see no difference in performance or features.
Got Version 5.1.8 (6534.58.2) Haven't noticed any difference as well, same old same old.
It works without any problems (so far) on my 2010 Core 2 Duo Mini while using FireFox as my browser. I hope that Apple continues the security updates for 10.6.8 since I have expensive legacy software that is allergic to lions.
I'm still using SL since my Mac does not supports Lion or ML, and I thought Apple dropped SL support a long time ago, except for safari I can say I can still use my Mac normally

The Snow Leopard security update assumes you are running Safari 5.1.7, as it updates it to 5.1.8.
If you have an earlier version of Safari (the more stable 5.0.5, for example), Safari will crash upon launching. It also will crash if plug-ins and extensions have not been updated to run on 5.1.7, i.e., Cosmopod (which will not run on 5.1.x at all).

Can anyone clarify one thing to me, does this "Security Update 2013-001 for Snow Leopard" contain all of the previous Security updates that were released for Snow Leopard?
If you run Software Update, it will notify you if any other updates are required.
