New iMac Benchmarks (Geekbench, Cinebench, Novabench, Xbench, Blackmagic)

Post benchmark scores for whatever configuration you have and whatever software you want to use, opening apps, video rendering, and also opening apps

iMac arrived a couple hours ago. Here's what I got:
Verified NovaBench Score: 1631

Test run on December 17, 2012 at 14:13
Mac OS X 10.8.2
iMac (iMac13,2)

Intel Core i7 running at 3400 MHz

NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680MX GPU

32768 MB System RAM (Score: 269)
- RAM Speed: 9952 MB/s

CPU Tests (Score: 908)
- Floating Point Operations/Second: 374781568
- Integer Operations/Second: 693057600
- MD5 Hashes Generated/Second: 1389431

Graphics Tests (Score: 386)
- 3D Frames Per Second: 1648

Hardware Tests (Score: 68)
- Primary Partition Capacity: 698 GB
- Drive Write Speed: 350 MB/s

27" with 680mx and 8GB of ram and 3TB fusion.

Unigine Heaven on OSX on default settings - 39FPS

Cinebench 64bit - CPU -7.47
Open GL- 44.7

Geekbench 32bit test- 14215

Novabench - 1520

Black Magic - Write - 311MB/s
Read- 415MB/s

Yea some of the reports in that chart aren't the new iMac but many of them are and there are ones up towards 18,000 that are legit.

Pretty impressive...

No. If you look at BIO's you can see most of them are Hackintoshes. It's really hard to justify paying Apple what they asked for a 3770. Durring black friday you could get a i7 and 8GB of RAM PC for $700.

geekbench score 13025
- integer 10872

- memory 7631

blackmagic
write - 325.4 MB/s

Is this a normal score? It seems a huge difference in comparison with the i7...

Here are the benchmarks I've run:

I've got the 2.9GHz Core i5 with 8GB RAM, and the NVIDIA GeForce GT 650M 512 MB

Rage (transcode benchmark) - 70 MT/s
XBench - 242.79
Geekbench - (32 bit) - 9312
Novabench - 955
Blackmagic - 107 Write / 99 Read
Unigine Heaven (default) 20.3 FPS (with 4x AA)
