Will Apple release their own AR Google Glass variant ?

Right now it's too gimmicky but I reckon there's massive potential in a business/ enterprise space, like emergency services, medical, engineering.

Reckon Apple would get into this space or not ?

I think Apple will see how it develops, then come in and raise the bar in terms of design and streamlining the functionality.

That's if it takes off, it will need a huge enduring push to get people to regularly wear AR glasses. Glasses wearers will early adopt if the form is light enough, but it would be a hard sell to those who aren't speccy.

Apple will do what they always do: wait for other companies to invent something, make their own version which looks a bit nicer and uses only Apple's own proprietary technology, and sell it for triple the price.
