Silverlight on Mac = safe?

I don't trust them with their security record as far as windows is concerned.

But I want to watch netflix on my computer.

Silverlight's security record is very good. Microsoft is very quick to patch any known flaws with it. It uses less resources than Flash and is much more secure.

^^ Agreed. Silverlight on the Mac has been good as well as secure. You need not worry. Download it and enjoy Netflix.

I been using it on my Mac as I use Quickflix.

But is there a way to increase the buffering size as I regularly get buffer problem pauses while watching a Quickflix movie?
