I have purchased an Apple TV in the States to give to someone in Canada. I am starting to worry it may not work in Canada. Does anyone have any idea? The model is MD199LL/A [NEWEST VERSION]
Thanks!

Canada, eh?
It will work, but if you use a Canadian Apple ID, you will only have access to content available in Canada. Same goes for any other Apple ID in any other country.

Warranty?

I've decided against the protection plan as it's just not cost effective. However, if the warranty is needed during the first year, do I have to deal with Apple in the States rather than Apple in Canada? I haven't dealt with Apple support. before I'm wondering if this was a stunned decision on my part.

Thanks!
