I phoned Apple and they are replacing my iMac for buzzing sound that it produces.
However I have put my accounts and data on the machine and I don't want it falling into the wrong hands even though I'm sure Apple will wipe the data.
Can you tell me the best way of wiping the machine clean so that my data cannot be recovered. Thank You.

Use the recovery mode, press :apple:R when you boot it up and go in there. It's the easiest method to wipe a computer
