Was this Mid 2011 iMac a good deal?

Just got home with this Mid 2011 iMac 27" it was a floor model but had been only been on display for about a week because they sold the last display model. No scratches or even fingerprints on it. Included the wireless mighty mouse and wireless bluetooth keyboard.

Got it for $1,499, i snatched it up not really knowing how good of a deal it was but i do have 15 days to return with no restocking fee since it was an open box item anyways.

Think it was a good deal?

Got a Refurbished iMac 27-inch 3.4GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i7 mid 2011 from apple. Said it had 4g ram and 1g video memory but came with 8g ram and 2g video memory for $1789. Had to wait for it, then jumped when one was available. Also came with os x 10.8 but if you go to apple.com you should be able to update yours for free.

I believe I read that any Mac purchased after a certain date is eligible for a free upgrade to 10.8.

man I had no idea the 6970 was such a beast of a card, just got done playing two hours of CS:GO with everything maxxed out, really pleased.

I submitted my receipts online to apple to qualify for the mountain lion upgrade and just waiting to hear back from that. Hopefully I get that code tomorrow and i can get that installed.

Ya they actually had the mid 2011 base model 27" on clearance for $999 but they didn't have any left and the floor model was beat up. (this was at Fry's)

why? if yours is in like new condition, and you've not found any issues might be best to keep...
