Every time I have a new episode available through season pass, iTunes keeps restarting a whole ton of past downloads.

At first, it was just the SD versions of HD movies I bought (I have no need for the SD versions to take up space on my hard drive as I'll only be watching the HD versions). But since iTunes 11, iTunes has now also decided to start making me re-download HD movies that I already have in my iTunes library.

In the past, I could just select all the ones I didn't want to download again, click delete and then click remove and the problem would be solved (at least for that instance). But since 11, when I do that, it keeps reloading them and restarting the downloads.

Does anyone know if there's a fix for this?

Yeah, you have to delete downloads from the list in iTunes and then go to [home folder]/Music/iTunes/iTunes Media/Downloads and trash what you want gone physically.

After that, iTunes should only download the most recently purchased stuff.:)
