I have seen both, you are absolutely correct. When liberals get banned the broke the rules correct? When conservatives get banned they broke the rules correct?

I am going out on a limb here, but I would imagine that when these rules are broken often they are reported.

Should someone not report something if the rules are broken? It would appear that Niuniu wants conservatives to not report liberals because he agrees with their point of view, it's that simple.

I have gotten warnings for the littleness things that were taken as insults. I complemented a mod telling him nice job on cleaning up a thread and got a warning.

You must of gotten the "don't butter me up" warning...

I don't treat people here as conservatives or liberals, and I don't go around crying about forums rules over a bit of mud-slinging like a thin-skinned nancy.

I don't go around saying I like guys who talk about shooting liberals out of trees then cry about someone insulting a conservative.

It's that simple.

*Walking Dead reference.

Actually I was a little upset that they didn't take him out like they did in the comic book, and that Michonne didn't do what she did to him in the comic as well.

I was being a little sarcastic with the beer comment anyway. I don't drink alcohol.

Well arse-licking a mod is a nasty thing to behold.

Sure. To my knowledge, I've never reported anyone on any forum (except for spam), but that's just how I roll. However, I do not believe that saying "So and so group have a mental disorder" requires either reporting or modding. Directly calling an individual something, sure. Referring to an amorphous group? Nope.

I am absolutely 100% serious, I told the mod "nice, you cut the thread in half" and got a warning. In all seriousness, I was happy about the moderation.

Apparently saying that the thread was cut in half was "discussing moderation".

Not to start a discussion about forum moderation, but your comment could have been taken as sarcastic.

I understand that and I discussed it with the mod, the guy's post they deleted were outright messed up. I think everyone in the thread was happy about the moderation. I can't imagine that anyone would have taken as sarcastic, but either he did or just considered it discussing moderation though I never brought up anything about who was being moderated.

Yes! We're in a political forum. There are bound to be heated disagreements. Man (or lady) up and deal with it. Keep the mods out of it. Just my opinion.

I've seen the mod discussion threads and opinions on removing moderation from PRSI and I am in agreement with it. If I could say what I want freely then I would be happy to let others do the same. Just imagine if you could say what you really wanted to say to squilly or lostngone, maybe even me. Wouldn't you feel better?

I think all of our goals is to have both sides of issues discussed in civil terms, without being ejected.

Civil terms usually won't get you ejected.

"Civil terms" is code for biased towards conservatives.

[MOD NOTE]
As per our policy, public discussion of moderation is not permitted. The last couple of pages of this thread is a discussion of moderation and to that point its better to lock this thread then take a chainsaw and delete 2 pages worth of posts.
