Using MBA 13" 2011 in clamshell mode.

I've just ordered a 32" 1080p television which I plan to use primarily for gaming but then I got to thinking and thought I could use it as computer monitor when I want extra real estate. So I got to googling and ordered the following:

Mini display port to HDMI connector
magic trackpad
apple bluetooth keyboard

Am I good to go? I feel like I might be missing something crucial... ( I have a history of screwing up things like this

)

So if I have everything I need I just plug in the power cord and the mini display port and I'm good to go when I close the mac?
