I have an original Mbox and once I update my OS it stopped working since it's not supported. I was looking for a work around and found the one here:

I followed the advice of fender242. It didn't fix my problem. So I found out about icicle and now I can plug my phantom power mic straight to my mac. Only problem is neither logic or garage band open now. I deleted all the files of soundflower and pd and restarted my mac but they won't get past the initialization stage. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
