Bought 13 inch Air for $869. Help needed on configuration!
Hello,
I just purchased a refurbished 2011 Macbook Air 4GB / 128GB off of Apple for $869. I feel like I got a pretty good deal! My workload is not very heavy and I have other options for storage. However, my mind would be at ease if the computer has 8GB. Like I said, my workload is not heavy but I do a lot of multitasking. Is the deal I got too good to pass up? Is there a cheap alternative online if I'm looking for a 2011 8GB / 128GB? Lastly, I don't think the difference from 2011 to 2012 would be noticeable for someone like me. Is that true? Thanks for all of your help! |

Nonetheless, I think you got a decent deal.

Besides the better processor and different MagSafe power adapter, you get USB 3.0. Other than that, no difference.

The other difference is that the '12 MBA has faster RAM and a HD camera along with the other upgrades mentioned previously. |
