I keep hearing "I wish the iPad mini had a retina screen"
Can someone explain to me from a developer perspective(or any perspective really), how they could feasibly make a retina screen in an iPad mini without having to have every app make an iPad mini version. Some of the beauty of the mini is the fact that it just works with every iPad app. If you make a retina screen, the resolution will change, and I am sure it will not be the same as the iPad 4, so it will end up being some new resolution that nothing supports and will fracture a cohesive ecosystem. I like retina screens as much as the next person, but I just don't see an easy path to one in the mini.
