iPod (touch wheel)....throw them in the trash?

I have two of these units;

I kept them just for the hell of it.
Should I toss them, or do you guys think that they would be worth something in the future?

That depends.
Someone will probably pay for them, but don't expect them to get rare.

You could get around $30 for one in working condition, depending on its capacity.

The reason they're not quite as popular is their incapability to use any USB adaptor to sync and charge them.

i LOVED mine when i had it.
got stolen.
was bummed.

i still use my click wheel iPod, and did religiously up until iTunes match came along. now i use it in the car to save battery life on my phone.

Hard to believe these are just about 10 years old.

The only one that Apple moved the buttons off the wheel. Complaints were enough that the buttons re-appeared on the wheel with the 4th gen.

I believe that these WOULD USB & Firewire sync, but only charge via Firewire.

I actually just bought one recently at a yard sale, so I would definitely not trash them!
