my 2012 iMac was about 2mm out on one side. My solution; the desk it's on has screw in legs, so I slackened the legs slightly on one side to lift the desk up by a couple of mm. Works a charm and the desk is still stable.

perception is wonderful

Ahem. Mac users! HELLO! :)

Given the amount of weight put on these stands, it's amazing they're at all close to being level. It's certainly something Apple could work on, but I doubt it's at the top of their priority list..

Locating things at the center of gravity is a wonderful engineering concept....

I measured mine and I noticed it was about 3-4 mm off. Then I measured my table with a straightedge and there's a 4 mm depression where I measured the iMac edge.
