Headphone Amplifiers

I'm looking into using an external portable amp, like the cmoy, to drive bigger headphones with higher impedance. As far as I know, there's no way to get line-out on the iPhone 5 with the current state of lightning cables.

Is anyone using a portable amp with the headphone jack? If so, how is it?

Agreed! Lots of great info and pics on that site. I have no idea what they're talking about, but I catch on haha.

If you use Apples' lightning-to-30pin adapter, your existing 30pin cables that split-off line-out will still work.

I've used both line-out and headphone jack with portable amps (including cmoy) and line-out is much better.
