I had one for my 3GS. Biggest waste of money because it was such a pain in the ass.

I'm jailbroken so I had quick toggles so that wasn't a big deal. Want to take a picture? Gotta slide the keyboard out. If the iphone had haptic feedback, it would be perfect.

Because it makes the virtual keyboard experience much better. You feel yourself hit the key. I'm not sure why, but it is a deal breaker for me when it comes to phones. (I'm jailbroken so I do have haptic feedback on my iPhone.)
