Hi,

I installed Hotspot Shield on my mac but cant find how to fully uninstall it?

There was something on the apple forum but it was not too much help!

I am running osx 10.6 on a MPB

Thanks

HSS comes with it's own uninstaller - it is in the same installer package, did you use that?

Uninstall Hotspot Shield

How do I uninstall Hotspot Shield VPN?
You can tap and hold the app until the "X" appears and tap again to delete. If you want to uninstall Hotspot Shield completely, you will need to switch your VPN to "Manual" and or delete your VPN Profile.
DELETE VPN PROFILE
Go to "Settings"
Select "General"
Select "Profiles"
Select "Hotspot Shield VPN"
Tap "Remove"

you will need the install .DMG and mount/open it - move over to the right side of the window and there is the uninstaller - works fine, quit and relaunch your browser (safari in my case) and it's gone - will go with it (or another VPN app pro version) in a month - it DOES slow connections down - hang onto the .DMG for a while just in case : )
