They are selling the base rMBP is 2111 at BB right now - they give you 10% off for being open box - then they have a coupon for an additional $50 all Macbook's until Nov 21. To good of a deal to pass up. Opened the box in the store - I knew it was good when it still had the plastic cover over the apple logo. Also its a Samsung screen.

Can anyone get the coupon?

Just bought an open box base model as well for $1909. Had 43 battery cycles on it but everything else seems fine.

FYI< I've had luck with going through Apple with the receipt and getting them to reset the warranty date.

Hmm. At my previous job we had the ability to fill out a form, send it to Apple and have the warranty on open box computers and iPods reset, so long as the 2nd person purchased it within 90 days of the first(these were always sold as open box computers, so no shady deals).

I wonder if Apple doesn't allow resellers to do that anymore.

BAM! Right there! You may be able to restore your full warranty.
