Most DMG files come with a folder that has text manual. I like to keep my system clean and delete the .dmg files after I have installed the program.

When the program is installed in the hard drive does the folder that contains the program keep a copy of the text manual or is that only contained within the .DMG file when first installing the program?

Do I need to make a copy of this text manual unto my desktop before deleting the dmg?

Thanks :D

I'm a rolling stone.
This is a question which has no clear answer, some programs do some don't, many of the Apps installed contain a copy inside the App (Right click and show contents will show what is inside).
Most programs have also built in Help, so you can click on help in the Menu Bar.
I keep all my dmg's, downloading again on a capped internet is costing me money.
