[iPad Mini] Does the mini allow TV play back

Hey guys, i'm thinking of ordering a Mini today, i just wanted to ask, does it allow for TV play back, i currently plug my iPad 3 into a HDMI adapter and can mirrior it on the TV, thought i'd check before i ordered one.
