How to stop pop up windows?

Using Safari with block-up windows selected and installed ad blocker but I still get some video websites opening up windows behind Safari

Is is possible to stop ALL block ups?

Thanks I will install all those and see if it stops those annoying behind the page pop-ups. I see a quick flash and then some window pops up BEHIND the page I am viewing, very annoying as they accumulate and you can end up with dozens of them after awhile.

By the way, Gimmer don't work on Snow Leopard.
