Connecting to my iMac from a Samsung Chromebook Remotely

What is the best way to do this. I noticed under sharing prefs on the mac I can invoke screen sharing. Is this all I need to do?

I dont know what kind of remote desktop protocol the Chrome os uses, but that has to be compatible with the iMac. OS X uses VNC.
