Usually 2-3 gb/month with Verizon 4 gb/month plan. We recently got Wifi at work and I've dropped down to 200-300 mb. Do I goof off that much at work?

When I recently went into Verizon to add the i5 to my line from a different line (the old basic phone/swap loophole), the guy was shocked and called his buddy over to see my data usage. I average about 150 GB per month.
It made me very uncomfortable to have them gawking at it. When they asked me how I do it, I just played dumb and said "There's no way that's accurate!", all the while knowing full well that it was. Ah well. |

I'm currently at 1.55GB of data used on my AT&T unlimited LTE plan with a week left in my billing cycle. I don't use WiFi at all, though, so that explains the usage.

This may be a stupid question: Curious for the iphone 5 folks..Did you guys notice an increase in data usage once you upgraded to iphone 5 compared to when you had 4 or 4s?
I haven't had my iphone 5 but maybe almost 3 weeks now and already @ 2GB when with my last phone 4 I barely used over a gig within a month. I'm not doing anything differently with this new phone at all. At least not that i'm aware of. Usually on wifi when i'm at home. I have unlimited so i'm not that worried but at the same time I don't want to be concerned about any throttling in the future if I don't take note now, ya know?

---------- I consistently use over 5.5 GB per month. I have unlimited data with AT&T. Get throttled after 5 but still great for surfing the web. |

I'm currently at 2.971 GB and my cycles ends on the 4th of every month.
I have 4 GB shared between 2 iPhone 5's, however, my wife hardly uses any data b/c she is on WiFi at home all day. I stream TuneIn Radio Pro most of the day at work and only typically use 3.5 - 3.75 per month. 150 GB is a lot, but I guess I could possibly get that high if I never used WiFi. I mean, I have it at home so there is a lot of stuff that I do that doesn't use my data at night (after work) and on the weekends when I'm home. |

I'm changing my plan back, this 1gb data share plan is ridiculous. I'm willing to give up unlimited minutes to gain 2 extra gb of data for $5 more.

As of today: 427.66MB. On a 1GB plan and closest I ever get is to 850MB of month or so. Always use wifi at home.

Verizon cannot restrict lte sims. That's why verizon is trying to force uses off unlimited data by demanding they give up unlimited data for subsized phones.
I don't even use my verizon phone line anymore. I put it in my verizon lte iPad. Rack up between 15-30gb data each month. Probably could hit over 100gb if I really wanted to. Never give up unlimited lte data guys. I have free hotspot also. |
