How to get FULL digital access to the New York Times for $1.65/week or $7.15/month

Update. I had managed to get the book review subscription, and had full digital access from 4/23 until today, when I received the following email…

"This e-mail confirms the cancellation of your New York Times digital subscription."

No explanation, just "thanks, buh bye".

My account info for digital access online says…

"Your complimentary access was canceled".

Looks like the gig may be up for book review subscribers, which could mean large print subscribers too. The Times site does in fact say that those subscriptions do not include digital access.

that's a bummer, and i did in my searching confirm what you wrote about their policy that those two subscriptions types are excluded.

on a more positive front, if somehow you are at a university that has some form of subscription, you may qualify for a digital subscription for $7.50 every 4 weeks. a bit more than the previous "workaround" but doesn't kill trees and is half of what they normally charge. i'm pursuing this route.

Does anyone have information on this university subscription method?

I got access through the Large Print weekly subscription until recently, but just got notice that I will no longer have Digital Access. Anyone else with Large Print in the same situation?
