The cover should not get on the way at all. On my 2011 macbook air, I would see some marks on the screen from the cover, which can be cleaned easily. However, on my new mid-2013 MBA I don't have this issue anymore. Perhaps, the lcd screen is much more recessed than before. You shouldn't have any issues. The tpu cover is very thin!

Thanks again. I was planning on trying the TPU one, so looking forward to this!

It takes a couple of days to get used to it but after that you won't even know it's there. Enjoy a clean prestine keyboard!

Yup I leave it on all the time. It does leave some keyboard marks sometimes if I let it get dirty but regular cleaning stops it. It has never damaged my LCD on the 3 air's that I have used it on. I have seen more scratches due to improper wiping of the screen than from keyboard covers. Keep in mind this is with the Moshi brand keyboard cover which is made especially well and is quite thin so the complaints from others might be because they used cheaper alternatives.

Speaking of alternatives, does anyone know if theres a cheaper Moshi clone that has the same material and texture?

The ones from eBay $3-5 are just as good if not the same.
