Unhappy Safari history on ipad

Hi there

I'm new to the forum but was hoping that someone could help/advise.

Is it possible for websites to appear in the safari history as a result of some kind of virus or opening other websites earlier in the day. there are indecent websites showing in my safari history which I definitely did not access.

also is it possible to find the actual time and date they were accessed rather than just the day? I can work out then who was in the house when the websites were accessed?

Thanks

Go on settings and clear out all website data and history and caches. See if this happens again and mentally record what websites you're visiting.
