Handbrake and metadata

Why doesn't Handbrake provide a simple metadata editor? It wouldn't have to be complex, but some basic fields would be very helpful.

Is it really that much extra work to open an mp4 in a tagging app? I really prefer to have specific apps that do an excellent job at what they are designed for rather than an all around program that is just "ok" at a lot of things.

Also, I think HB has a preferences setting to sent your mp4 to a designated tagger.

Yep there is, in fact you can choose to send your completed encode to any app including iTunes. I have it send to Subler for tagging.
