Bumping this thread to show off my updated setup with Sony's new GPX555 bluetooth stereo system joining my late-2013 27-inch iMac. Hoping to see some more iMac setups as well...post away.

very nice but don't you think you need to put those speakers further apart for ideal acoustic effect?
Not according to the instruction manual. Just needs to be at a 45 degree angle of your listening position. Plus, the speaker wires are only 2 meters long which limits how far they can be placed away from the receiver/amplifier. The right speaker is already starting to push the limit of the wire length. The receiver is located in the cabinet below.

Ha, I know. But so is the 27-inch iMac if you think about it. I wanted BIG sound to go with my big screen. Was tired of getting to max volume on smaller bluetooth speakers and wishing there was more.
