Multiple Kernel Panics

Every now and then I am getting a kernel panic right after logging in. I've dumped them all onto my website, anyone got any insight? I've had quite a few, just took me some time to manage to get them reported and on the board.

I'm using 3rd party RAM. In speaking with Applecare about kernel panics, they suggested I put the stock RAM back in before asking them to diagnose it. I did rum memtest and it found some errors. When I find time I'll boot into single user and run memtest and if it doesn't find anything I'd expect the panics to still occur when I put the Apple RAM back in.

Kernel panics are most often associated with hardware problems but can sometimes be solved by a normal OS install (without wipe). Before considering an OS install, be sure you have a current backup. I prefer to have something in addition to Time Machine or a brand new Time Machine backup started from scratch within the past several days.

That s the messege i usually get with my late 2010 macbook air with mountain lion

I posted several times in this forum the best tip i got so far is the remove the kext from rim for blackberry since then i never had kernel panic again

Finger crossed it stays that way

I have to disagree to a certain extend↓
Many of them are caused by corrupt OS.

That was the last loading kext, might be a Ethernet Problem.

What you could do is the following.

Create a new user if you don't already have one, log into that one after you (re)started your Mac, and stay in that User for awhile, if it's gone there is some conflict in your normal User Account.
Report back if you still have problems, you might need to reinstall if this did not help to solve it.

That was the last loading kext, might be a Ethernet Problem.

What you could do is the following.

Sure, I can try that. Doesn't Mountain Lion have an OS repair feature? Damn, I'm trying not to have to reinstall. It might be the DVD I burned. Though I think I burned it on a slow speed if I remember. How else could the OS become corrupt?

And nyolc8, nope, everything except the HDD (now an Intel SSD which ran fine on Lion) is stock.

Yes/No, the OS can not be repaired by copying files from Installer(Well sort of if you know what the problem is and use a special program to extract those files, and yes if you mean repair disk but that's something different.

Chance is low that it's a corrupted DVD, you might try a USB stick next time.

Well, I tried a new account, so far so good. Though I don't use that computer much, I'll get back next time I get an occurrence. Thanks for the support all.

I am also having almost daily kernel panics

Does anyone know how to read the panic traces or even know if Apple read the reports sent? I have noticed over the past few weeks, that my iMac i5 27" system with OS X version 10.8.2 has been restarted overnight due to multiple panics

Okay, so it happened again on the new user. I think it might be something to do with ethernet being plugged in at the time of login. Though I wonder why if that's the case.

Mountain Lion has known problems with some NVIDIA cards. So it is probably not a hardware problem. Others have found possible solutions:

What i think is, that ML has probably a problem with the 256 MB VRAM, and Apple did not test ML on this configuration. You can wait for OS X > 10.8.2 or you can install 8 GB RAM (2x4 GB) in your machine, which should give your machine 512 MB VRAM.

Running ML 10.8.2, with 8 GB memory, still seeing kernel panics

If I read form the above breakdown on some traces, looking at mine would seem to indicate that the issue lies with the AMDRadeonAccelerator and/or AMDFramebuffer, see trace below.

What do I do to fix this?
