which iMac should I buy

I'm thinking buying an iMac used 21.5 or 24 inches, at the most spend 800 dlls any recommendations?

You should be able to find used 2011 21.5 base iMac for around $800-900. That would be the best recommendation (I'll have mine for sale when my new 27" iMac comes in.) The 24 inch models I feel like are a bit dated at this point.
