Is this iPod Touch a good deal?

iPod Touch
4th generation (Dec. 2010)
8GB, Black color

The guy used it for an hour after winning it in a company raffle during New Year's

Asking price: $100.00

Gave 2 pics... looked good. (Craigslist)

Is the asking price of $100 too much, too little, or just right? Thanks :)

And yeah I know it's only 8 GB.

You can get a white refurbished 8GB 4th gen iPod Touch for $129 with a 1 year warranty from Apple.

Will 8GB be enough for you or will it feel too cramped after a short period of time?

$100 is too much. A factory refurbed 8GB iPhone 3GS was selling for $129 the other day.

A more reasonable price for an 8GB 4G iPod Touch is $50-60 range.

That doesn't make sense: he won a 2+ year old device New Years?

$50 sounds like a fair price to me. I'm gonna warn you - that thing's a dinosaur.

Was going to ask the same question. Why would a company buy a 2 yrs device for new year gift.

I think you should ask for the serial no. to check for the warrenty first before decide anything further.

8GB iTouch = only 5-6GB of storage memory. I'd rather invest in a 16 or 32GB model.

Unless you're only playing games and have no intention of putting music in it.
