downgrade to 4S?

i saw this ad on craigslist selling a good condition iphone 4S for only $280. i contacted the seller and we plan to meet up tomorrow...

i currently have an iphone 5, and I can probably sell my phone around $550-$580. so that's almost $300 in savings! dunno whether i should do this or not.

The 4S is still a capable phone. I'd get the 4S and wait to upgrade to the 5S next year.

You'd have to be crazy to downgrade to a smaller screened, fatter and heavier phone I've never regretted upgrading to my 5

He used his upgrade on the 5, so there is no 5S next year for him unless he's paying the early upgrade fee.
