Nonsense, I use it everyday and it's works very well. It occasionally gets things wrong and has issues in loud environments (completely understandable), but I find it invaluable.

I have never really understood the way Siri has been received. It is a product with so much promise that is nevertheless sub par and a significant step backwards in some situations.
The most notable issue is the dependence on an Internet connection to do things with local data - like initiating a phone call or playing a song - that have been possible for years without issue. Having said that, it does tend to understand commands well and I have not experienced any difficulties in this regard. I read this article and wonder what Siri could have become if either it hadn't been acquired, or had been given more resources by Apple. Is Siri still a beta product? |

Siri still works like an app from 2009.
Talk about a stagnant project smh. |

DoD Connection
What I think is interesting is this article tips its hat towards DoD's fascination with voice recognition. Wasn't Dragon NaturallySpeaking also rooted in a DoD project back in the early 1980s?
