Changing colour profile

I got a replacement screen for my rMBP yesterday (it had a mura) and the new one has a yellowy hue - but only half of the screen. Some people I have asked can't see it and I don't know if I'd be able to get a replacement because I know it probably isn't that obvious. Although to be honest, I'd rather have the mura as this yellow tint just looks ugly (also I got another Samsung screen and don't want to take the risk to end up with an LG with image retention).

I know changing the colour profile can help if your whole screen has a weird hue - but how about if it's just part of the screen? And if I wanted to do it anyway to see if it would be less obvious, how would I go about it? I tried playing around with it before but I didn't really understand it.
