iDVD ?
I do not have iLife but have purchased iMovie 11 and now I would like to burn a movie to DVD but I cannot find the iDVD software. No problem I thought, I should be able to obtain it from the AppStore, but no. It's nowhere to be seen in the AppStore or iTunes. There is a Tutor for iDVD but the actual program seems to have been erased from Apple's memory.
Does anyone know where I can obtain this software or any suggestions on suitable equivalents? psionpete + iMac + Mountain Lion, + iMovie |

Unfortunately Apple no longer sells iDVD. You have a few options:
1. iDVD is included on the iLife Disks for iLife '09 and iLife '11 - You can probably find one on Amazon or Ebay. I don't think the Apple retail stores sell the iLife boxes any more. 2. Use another program - Roxio Toast will allow you to create DVD movies from iMovie Files. But is it not as good as iDVD for creating professional looking DVD's.

Try Burn. It's free:
