mirroring/extended desktop for windows

Hi,

Does anyone have experience/success with mirroring AND extended desktop using AppleTV? I know AirParrot will mirror, but also looking for extended desktop capabilities. I don't have an ATV at the moment, so I can purchase any version, just looking for a way to use a an HDTV wireless.
