Stop iTunes Opening Automatically

Is there any way to stop iTunes from opening automatically every time I download an audio file in Safari? I find this behavior to be pretty annoying. Thanks in advance to anyone who can help!

Have you tried disabling "Open 'safe' files after downloading" in Safari's General preferences?
