Hi guys i have a ipod video 5 and have the common sad face to apple logo loop. i am able to put the ipod into disk mode. i first thought this was a hard drive problem and so replaced it with a Compact Flash converter. I also tried a new hard drive before this which failed my attempt to get the ipod recognized by itunes. All out of ideas and would really appreciate any advice.
