Safe to upgrade iPhone 5 to 6.1?

Hi so I'm still on 6.0.1 because I heard 6.0.2 messes up the battery. My question is is it safe to upgrade to 6.1 or is there more bugs?

Yes it's safe, I haven't had any issues. Better performance in some areas.

No problems here. I mainly wanted to be at the latest version before Sunday.

But there is a good possibility another update will be released soon after.

6.1 is all around better then 6.01. Highly recommend for a i5. Better wifi performance, faster app store, security fixes, bunch of under the hood things and my battery life has improved modestly with the update so

Almost as smooth as 6.0 on launch day! Way better than 6.0.2 or 6.0.1!!!

I'm getting noticeable battery life increase. I don't know about performance increase, but battery is great.

If your on a iPhone 5, the app store and other programs are smoother and wifi is defitnetly faster

Yes. Honestly I'm glad you stayed away from 6.0.2, it was horrible!

But to be honest there's no real reason to upgrade to iOS 6.1. There's no major update to it.

Just updated then restored from backup(while it was in 6.0.2) is that bad? haha!!!

Same thing for all iOS devices compatible with 6.1...faster Safari, security enhancements and bug fixes, improved iMessage speed and reliability, a bunch of other under the hood things there really is no reason why you SHOULDNT upgrade to 6.1 it makes your device all around better
