Kingston ssd V+200 sata3 running like sata2

i ve installed a kingston V+200 ssd 120gb sata 3 (6.0gbs) on my mac mini mid 2011 that come with a 6gb sata controller.

followed ifixit step by step...all went smooth....but i cant get the ssd working at the declared speed (450/500 mbs). trim is enabled via trimenabler and connected as only disk to the main flat..but maximum speed is stucked on 145 mbs writing and 195 mbs reading...less then a sata 2 sad.....whats wrong with it?

Go to the system profiler and ensure that link speed/negotiated speed are both 6gbps. Mine controller speed is rated at 6gbps on my 2nd bay, but its only connecting at 3gbps. Supposedly due to bad shielding, which I have no idea how to fix.

Well, for starters, it's doing real world reading and writing, not reading and writing of a string of zeroes, which is typically used to calculate the 'ZOMG!!!111 100 gajillion mbps speeds' quoted by SSD manufacturers.

Everything looks fine in your profile of the disk. Maybe check whether there's a firmware update.

Where are you seeing that the drive is supposed to be that fast? I'm looking at it on Newegg and the maximum rated speeds are 300 MB/s read and 190 MB/s write. It's rare to get those maximum speeds with real-world use so your numbers seem close enough that I wouldn't worry about it.
