I think Nikon priced that lens out of the ballpark. Too bad because I bet it's a great lens.

I've seen images taken with it and the D4, staggering. And on the D800, it'll be even better with the 36.3mp. :eek: Let's hope I can get my hands on one to test.

canon version is $14.000

Actually it's $13,000, and that's a $3000 difference.
To put into perspective you could get a brand new D800 with that much money and still have enough left for a nifty fifty.
