Can I assign the "eject" key to eject my External DVD drive?

I notice the Apple wireless keyboard has the eject in the top right, the thing is it doesnt eject my External. Can I assign it to do that somehow?

Works for me on my apple external dvd drive.

Well mine isnt Apple and it doesnt work
