The sooner they release iOS 7, the better... Not because I plan to download it when it is released, but because the sooner they release it, the sooner they will come out with the first bug fix that will squash many of the most problematic bugs, which is what I plan to download. :)

That's the truth there. Usually takes 1-2 releases to get it stable.
