Where to find old version of Remote Desktop? v3.5 (for Snow Leopard)
Hi everybody. My boss wants to buy and use Remote Desktop with his three Mac Pros, all running Snow Leopard. As I understand it, the only version of Remote Desktop available online from Apple is v3.6, which only runs on Lion or Mountain Lion. Since my boss doesn't want to upgrade his OS yet, how would I go about finding v3.5 of Remote Desktop so I can install it on his Snow Leopard computers? Or, if I'm completely wrong about this, just set me straight, thanks.

I would suggest....
ebay:
http://www.ebay.com/sch/i.html?_odkw...p&_sacat=58058 and later updates to 3.5.3, to make the software up to date/more secure And I suppose a call to Apple or a visit to your nearest Apple retail store dont hurt..... ![]()

updates are free?
Yeah, it's looking like eBay. I talked to a couple Apple people on the phone and they didn't know where I could buy it (or are just trained to suggest everyone upgrade to the most recent OS).
Last question: I'm assuming once I buy 3.5 i can get to 3.5.3 via FREE software updates? I don't want to spend my boss's money only to find out I need to spend even more of it! He wouldn't like that. |
