Google maps has its share of errors too; in my case apple maps has more up to date POI in my area than google maps.
And the turn by turn UI on apple maps is a lot better. No one is "wrong", it all depends on your situation. So get off your high horse. |

Google Maps has errors but nowhere as terrible as Apple Maps
why do you want fancy pants interfaces? the thing doesn't work! I trust Apple I know their maps will probably blow away google maps offer sometime but not now. |

Both Apple Maps & Google Maps have plenty of room for improvement. Both of them need to be "fixed". At this point, either one can be used for basic navigation but each miss some needed features.
