Files - wow!

Mike - this is a great program - many thanks. It has already eased my considerable frustration with the OSX Finder. Keep up the good work! Best wishes, David.

I use this app and I like it, thanks for your great work. I miss terminal font size preference. It's too small for me. I changed font in preferences / panels / classic / font and it works for UI but not for terminal.

SMB protocol

Migun,

what a great app! I was looking for Far Manager replacement for OS X and I think I've found it! You should ask money for it - it's a great file manager. I have a question for you though, do you have SMB protocol support implementation in your plans?

Hi SERbIY,

Thanks for a response, glad that you've found Files useful.
Currently there're no plans for smb support in near releases.
Mostly because MacOSX has a pretty decent built-in support for this protocol, but I can miss something that makes crucial having an alternate way to access such sources - please tell me if so.

Regards,
Mike.

It would be great to have SMB support in Files so you don't need to switch to another app to access SMB share.

It already exists and is called midnight commander (MC)

Install that, open the terminal and type 'mc' to run.
