I'm trying to switch to Verizon but the 350 fee is to much

You can pay the fee in installments. They will never tell you that but it's true. Actually Sprint did tell me that when they lured me away from Verizon.

I've got sprint and had the iPhone 4 and now the 5. I haven't minded it really. Mainly because I get good service. However, I'm growing more budget conscious as I grow older but will not compromise going back to android for a cheaper plan. I'm going to wait a few month for the term fee to go down a little then unlock my phone and use it on straight talk. I won't have 4g, but my plan will be $50 per month. Good trade off I think. At least until the iPhone 6 comes out.

Not going to get into a "carrier war", but will say this...

Just like most things, how good a service or product is depends on your own experience and in this case location. Sprint has been good to me and is only going to get better with Network Vision and LTE roll outs. Here's a screenshot of my LTE speeds and I don't even live in a launched market.

I only get the 'o' when I'm in rural areas.. Majority of the time I get LTE/3G.

It REALLY depends on your location. This is from my house. We've always had Sprint and we knew Sprint had good coverage in the Dallas area and for a good portion of Texas. Sometimes I prefer LTE over the home wifi because it can be faster (our wifi can be laggy sometimes).
