stutter issues

Hi, I've got an apple tv 3 and i'm using it to stream files off my laptop. Some work fine such as I have a 1080p file I downloaded which plays through okay, I have another one which is 720p which was converted from MKV to MP4 using Leawo and it stutters! It's really noticable too! Any ideas why?

720p MKV File, i converted to the setting labelled " apple tv h.264 video 1280 x 720.mp4 " Description underneath says " MPEG-4 h.264 video profile optimized for apple TV.

Is there another setting or something I should encode too as there are loads in the list!

Use HandBrake.

Agreed. Don't worry about all the detailed settings. The included profiles work fine 99% of the time.
